write.jpgBased on the rubric created in a previous learning goal with a cohort, the learner will create an artifact that will answer the following questions about a common community experience:



What happened?
Who was involved?
Where did this happen?
When did this happen?
What was the setting?
Why do you consider this important?
How did others react?




Learners can create an artifact from any tools including: diaries, journals, autobiographical stories, sketching, video, musical presentation, drama or any other representation. This artifact will only be shared with the teacher or facilitator of the community-service learning project.

As this step moves the learner from surface to deep learning, the activity requires integration, self-direction and developmental levels determined by professor/facilitator and learner. Therefore, there will be a feedback loop for continuous improvement.
